Right from Jeffery's own back yard. Mirabilis jalapa, commonly known as 4 O'clocks, bloom in the evenings... from about 4pm to noon the next day. In cloudy weather, they may remain blooming all day. Considered an annual flower up north, but grows as a perennial down south. Small pink, red, yellow, and white flowers generously cover the big three foot plants. Makes a nice temporary hedge, but may need support when they reach full size. Large packet contains about 50 seeds, mixed colors. Plant in spring, about 12 inches apart, after any possibility of frost.
